International airport to come up near Taj Mahal

. The airport, to be built on PPP model, is likely to be completed by 2017, a tourism department spokesman said.

The district magistrates of Agra and Mathura have already identified four spots for setting up the airport, he said, adding that an authorised committee and advisory committee for developing and managing the proposed airport have already been set up.

Maximum number of tourists coming to the country visit Taj Mahal and as there is no international airport in Agra they face problems.
