UPA to face boycott, threatens Baba Ramdev

Baba Ramdev
New Delhi, Jul 3: Hitting at the UPA government, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev said the Centre will face a boycott if it failed to control corruption and bring economic transparency.

He said economic transparency was needed for the development of the country.

"The country needs an honest Prime Minister and 400 honest Members of Parliament," said the yoga guru.

"If this is done, the issue of corruption will be resolved and the country will prosper," he said.

On being questioned on what the government could do, he said, "honest PM and MPs are the only alternative."

Talking about the Presidential poll, he said, "the environment created in the run-up to the poll is quite unfortunate."

On the agitation he is going to hold at New Delhi on Aug 9, he said, "we will force the government to take effective measures to curb corruption and boost economy."
