Prez poll: Sangma camp finds ammunition against Pranab

Pranab is the Chairman of the Indian Statistical Institute, which according to Sangma is an office of profit. Sangma has raised objections to this matter and stated that Pranab must be disqualified in the race for the President's post.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission had also postponed the scrutiny of papers for the Presidential poll slated to be held on Jul 19, 2012. Janata party President Subramanian Swamy tweeted, "Pranab has various offices of profit secretly? That is the buzz in Hong Kong. I am only confirming postponement of scrutiny to tomorrow. Even that is illegal. I was told in Hong Kong his problem."
