Hosni Mubarak
Egypt, Jun 29: Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is slipping in and out of coma and his morale has come down after he heard the news of Mohamed Morsi's victory in the presidential polls, said an official at a Cairo military hospital.

"The former president has been greatly affected by the news of Morsi's presidential victory," said the official.

"According to medical reports, Mubarak's morale has worsened. He is in depression and slips in and out of coma," said the official.

"His medical team is carrying out all sorts of tests on his brain and heart."

Hosni Mubarak was sentenced to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of murdering protesters during the Egyptian uprising.

According to a source, Mubarak is "in a coma and the doctors are trying to revive him."

"He has been placed on an artificial respirator," added the source.
