Bangalore techie found dead in US hotel
Pawan Kumar Anjaiah, a software engineer by profession with Cognizant Technologies was found dead inside a hotel room on Jun 19.
According to the Delaware police, the suicide was triggered followed by Pawan's alleged involvement in the murder of an American woman.
The police said that he died due to excessive usage of drugs and alcohol consumption, a claim refuted by his parents based in Bangalore.
Pawan, who went to US with a H-1B visa in Mar 2011, was scheduled to arrive in the country in the first week of July.
The Delaware police had issued an arrest warrant against Pawan Kumar Anjaiah for allegedly stabbing a 26-year-old Danielle Mehlman, a teacher by profession and mother of a 4-year-old, at Dewey Beach.
Reports reveal that Pawan met Mehlman through an online dating website.
