Bollywood actress goes missing, one arrested
The Jammu police is now interrogating Pervez Ahmed Tak, a contractor by profession, for suspected terror links.
The Jammu and Kashmir police had earlier seized an SUV belonging to the actress, who went missing with he family from Kishtwar on May 29, 2011.
The outstanding Mitsubishi Outlander was taken on rent by Pervez Ahmed Tak. Reports reveal that Pervez Ahmed Tak stood in the 2008 Assembly elections and was reportedly absconding since then.
According to reports, the vehicle was registered in the name of the Laila Khan's mother, Saleena Patel, a Pakistani actress, who starred in the 2008 Bollywood movie-Wafaa opposite Rajesh Khanna.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) is on a lookout for the actress and her family.
A complaint was lodged with the Mumbai police by Laila Khan's father, Nadir Shah Patel, who alleged that his daughter Laila Khan along with her mother Saleena Patel, her sister Azmina Patel, her stepfather Asif Sheikh and their family friend Pervez Iqbal Tak went missing after they left for Kashmir to attend a wedding.
