8 Chinese spies arrested from Himachal monastery
The police also recovered Rs 30 lakh, $3000, mobile phones and Chinese SIM cards from them. They were reported to be under police surveillance for the last couple of days.
The arrest comes at a time when the threat against Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama was intensifying.
The Himachal police and a unit of the Intelligence Bureau are currently interrogating the Chinese nationals.
