Prez poll schedule announced, voting on Jul 19, result on 22

New Delhi, Jun 12: The schedule for the Presidential poll was announced by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday.

Jul 19 has been declared as Election Date, while counting of votes and results will be announced on Jul 22.

The last day for making nominations will be Jun 30 and the date of scrutiny of nominations will be Jul 2. The last day for withdrawal of candidature is Jul 4.

The term of President Pratibha Patil will come to an end on 24 Jul, 2012.
