BJP will win Assembly polls in Gujarat, says Narendra Modi
Addressing a BJP meeting in Rajkot, he said, "We have been winning elections since 2002 and Gujarat has turned electoral politics into developmental politics. People will vote us to power again this year."
Asserting that corrupt persons will not be allowed to flourish in Gujarat, Modi said the rupee's devaluation of late was not due to any weakness in the economy but due to UPA's corruption.
"People of this country are fed up with the government. Congress leaders and ministers are not able to give solutions to any problem," he said.
Slamming the Centre's economic mismanagement, Modi quipped that the Manmohan Singh government is yet to realise that their boat is sinking. "If you cannot bring the prices down, at least bring it to that level where our Atal Behari Vajpayee left it," he added.
