Police to probe into Naveen's 'fake' Twitter account

The direction to the police came in response to media queries about Patnaik's twitter account. "Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is not a member in the Twitter, nor he has any account in the social networking site," a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said.
Attributing the act of opening a Twitter account in name of the chief minister as handiwork of certain dishonest people, the CMO appealed the public not to get misled.
The commissionerate of police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, has been directed to probe into the matter and initiate legal proceeding against the person involved in such mischief, the statement said.
The fake account in the name of Patnaik has close to 600 followers on Twitter.
