Road rage: Motorist hits NRI with baseball bat

businessman, who was spending his vacation in India, unfortunately became the victim of

here.

Sanjay Jaiswal was walking along with a relative near the Bandra-Kurla Complex when he saw the driver of a car using a baseball bat to beat up another motorist.

Following Sanjay's attempt to intervene, the man turned on him. Sanjay sustained head injuries and had to be rushed to Nanavati Hospital. He is now in the Intensive Care Unit.

Indrajit Sawant, the one who attacked Sanjay, has been arrested for attempt to murder. According to police, Sawant rammed his car into the rear of the vehicle driven by an executive named Rishi Gandhi.

This sparked the quarrel, seeing which Sanjay tried to intervene. Sawant was reportedly drunk at that time.

The accused has been remanded in custody till June 12.
