Digvijay utters the 'truth';says those his age should retire
He made the comment during his son’s second yatra at Dharmavada village in the Guna district of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. Digvijay commented, “We have reached a certain age. I think it is time that politicians of my age retire from politics and the youth must come forward and take over.”
Hailing from a royal family, Digvijay and his younger brother Laxman are the inheritors of the erstwhile Raghogarh principality in Guna. The former Madhya Pradesh CM, however, ruled any political sanyas and said that he is ready to contest the Lok Sabha election if the party gives him a ticket. But he stated that he will not contest the Assembly elections. He said, “I am not going to contest assembly elections any more but will contest the Lok Sabha elections if the party gives me a ticket.”
