WB: TMC launches party's new English mouthpiece

Kolkata, May 22: The

launched the party's new English mouthpiece called 'All India Trinamool Congress Leads', in a bid to reach out to its English speaking audience.

The first copy of the English magazine was handed over to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee by Railway Minister Mukul Roy and Rajya Sabha MP Derek O'Brien.

Derek O'Brien has been appointed as the editor of the monthly magazine.

"As of now we will bring it out on a monthly basis. But we do have plans to make it a fortnightly soon," said O'Brien.

The magazine will throw light on the achievements of the party, its activities, policies including various economic and political issues.

"Now, Trinamool Congress has a strong global presence. The magazine will not only help reach out to the masses in different parts of the nation but overseas as well," said state Finance Minister Amit Mitra.
