Over Rs 1.29 cr goods traded across LoC

Poonch (J&K), May 18: Goods worth over Rs 1.29 crore were traded between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) along the Line of Control at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here, officials said.

As many as four trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger here to PoK, they said, adding these trucks carried bags of chilli, potato and coriander worth Rs 12,04,500. From PoK, 11 trucks carrying bags of almonds, dry grapes, dry dates, herbs and Peshawari sandals crossed to this side and these were worth Rs 1,17,69,660.

Officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day, they said.
