Baba Ramdev
Jind (Haryana), May 18: Famous yoga guru Baba Ramdev after waging war against the corrupt babus and highlighting the issue of black money is all set to take up the matter of the aam aadmi having a say on who is going to be the President of India. He said that people of the country should be given voting rights in the Presidential poll.

Ramdev made these comments during a two-day yoga camp at Arjun stadium in Jind, and said, “It is unfortunate that only few are entitled to vote in the Presidential poll, the entire nation should have a participation in the process. Whether it is a political or a non-political person in the race, the common man should have their say in the entire process.”

He also added that, besides the President, people should also be given the right to chose their Prime Minister. Ramdev was in Jind as part of the third leg of his Bharat Swabhiman Yatra.

He also commented during the programme, “The campaign launched by me to bring back the black money stashed in foreign banks has left people involved in corruption in an awkward position. In democracy, mass awareness and public opinion lead to anger among the people which forces even political parties to mend their ways. We are working on creating mass awareness to bring such people on the right path."
