New Delhi: Bomb scare at educational institution

, May 8: A bomb scare that gripped Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) educational institution, New Delhi after a caller said that a bomb was planted in the institution turned out to be a hoax, said the police.

According to the police, fake explosives were seized during the search. A bomb disposal squad was rushed to the institution after the BVB authorities alerted the police.

"It seems like a prank played by a student of the institution. The student made a toy resembling an explosive device out of a video game," said police.

The police is now on a lookout for the culprit who made the hoax call.
