Ind Army Chief VK Singh to join Ramdev, Anna;UPA in trouble?

Ramdev, Anna and VK Singh
New Delhi, May 8: Indian Army Chief VK Singh is likely to join yoga guru Baba Ramdev and noted Gandhian Anna Hazare in their much-publicised fight against corruption in the country.

According to VK Singh's brother-in-law Aridaman Singh who is believed to be an aide of Baba Ramdev, the Army Chief will join the fight against corruption soon after his retirement. General Singh is due to retire on May 31.

If the report is true, the UPA government which has faced widespread criticism for its failure to pass the Lokpal Bill in both houses of Parliament could further be in trouble.

According to sources close to VK Singh, the Army Chief has been asked to join politics. However, the General and his immediate family have not confirmed this.
