Bollywood hero John Abraham won't be jailed for rash driving

Delivering its verdict on Monday, May 7 the court stated that John should be given the benefit of the Probation of Offenders Act since this is his first offence. However, the actor has been asked to pay Rs 10,000 as compensation to the victims' family members.
John faced the legal trouble when he injured two people during a rash driving in 2006 at Mumbai's Khar Danda area. Later, the actor took the two injured to hospital.
The actor attended all court hearings. John was found guilty in 2010 and was sentenced 15 days jail, however, the high court granted him bail in Mar 2012. After a struggle of six years, the Bollywood actor finally got relief.
