ATC helps Air India, Jet Airways, SpiceJet avert collision

New Delhi, May 7: A major three way collision between flights of Jet Airways, SpiceJet and Air India was averted at the Mumbai International Airport on Sunday.

According to reports, the three flights were on the runway at the same time and it could have led to a major tragedy.

However, the Air Traffic Control (ATC) asked the Jet Airways flight to take off, then asked SpiceJet to clear the runway, followed by Air India.
