Hillary-Mamata to meet over FDI in multi-brand retail

Kolkata, May 5: US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is likely to meet chief minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee to discuss over FDI in multi-brand retail in West Bengal today.

According to reports, Mamata and Hillary will hold a 45 minute long meeting.

Reports reveal that Hillary Clinton is looking forward to explore the scope of trade and investment in West Bengal and also get Mamata Banerjee's views on FDI.

The US Secretary will also take up the issue of Teesta water treaty with Mamata at the backdrop of her meeting with Sheikh Hasina, prime minister, Bangladesh.

State Secretary Samar Ghosh and State Finance Minister Amit Mitra are likely to be present at the meeting.
