Another North East student found dead in B'lore
23 year old Jackio is a second year student of Mechanical Engineering in Bangalore Institute of Engineering in Chandapura taluk in Bangalore district.
Initial reports from police sources have revealed that Jackio had an argument with his female acquaintance, also from Manipur that might have led to him to take the extreme step. The police stated that the tiff sparked off when Jackio suspected his 19 year old girl friend of cheating on him and he sparked off an argument after she refused to answer any of his phone calls. The girl, however mentioned that she was not answering the calls because of her exams.
Enraged with the girl's behavior, Jackio is understood to have rented a room in Suddaguntepalya late last night (Thursday). Police said that Jackio picked up a wire and twisted it around his neck and hung himself from the fan in front of the girl. The girl immediately cut the wire and called out to his friend in the next room, but it was too late by then. After Jackio was rushed to a hospital nearby, they declared him brought dead.
Police stated, " Jackio's parents have been informed and they are on their way to Bangalore. We will be questioning them as well as his girl friend (who is a second year student in BA in a city college)." Forensic experts have been rushed to the scene of the crime to collect evidence.
Only recently, Richard Loitam was found dead in his hostel room in Bangalore. He was a student of Acharya NRV School of Architecture.
