Hostage row: Released Sukma collector not afraid of Maoists

Menon's statement - "I am fine. I will work wherever government wants me to work" - clearly shows that despite facing this tough time, he is not at all afraid of the ultras who abducted him on Apr 21.
Menon currently is his way back to home in Chennai where his family members have been waiting for him eagerly. Earlier contradictory media reports scared his family members. While some reported about his release, few of the reports were suspicious about the news.
However, all confusion ended when Menon along with the two mediators - BD Sharma and Professor G Hargopal faced the media persons and thanked both central and state government and all his well-wishers who supported him during this time of turmoil.
