nominee's seem to have won the league in the fight for Presidential polls and all set to become the elected President.

The news might come as a disappointment to the BJP, who may not be able to put up a fight with the opposition in the election of the next President of India to succeed Pratibha Patil.

"The next President should be an independent, impartial and a fair person. I will talk to Sharad Yadav and Nitish Kumar. We will not take any decision without consulting the other NDA parties," said BJP party President Nitin Gadkari.

Non-UPA parties are inclined towards making Hamid Ansari as the President.

Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress leader, Mamata Banerjee is all set to meet Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi this weekend to discuss on the Presidential polls.
