K'taka: BJP's Lingayat supporters to reunite with Congress?

's Tumkur visit in Karnataka may help the state Congress to correct its aberrations: Re-unite with the powerful Lingayat community and to get back to power in the state.

Congress had made it clear that the state party is not against the community and can accommodate the community's ambitions.

Earlier, the Lingayats were loyal supporters of Congress, but the community shifted its support to the BJP, especially the former Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa after they felt neglected.

Meanwhile, Sonia's rally was disrupted by some agitators in Tumkur. The agitators had shown black flags when she reached for the rally on Saturday, Apr 28.
