Aarushi murder: CBI opposes Nupur Talwar's bail plea

) opposed Nupur's bail plea on Monday, Apr 30.

Following the Supreme Court order, Nupur Talwar finally surrendered before a Ghaziabad court on Monday morning. Aarushi's mother was taken under the court custody.

The CBI stated that Nupur is an accused of the murder of her daughter Aarushi and she evaded arrest for a long time despite the fact that non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against her.

Nupur went missing on the day when the CBI reached her house to arrest her. However, later she moved the apex court seeking dismissal order of the non-bailable arrest warrant issued by the Ghaziabad court. However, the Supreme Court overruled Nupur's plea and ordered her to surrender before the lower court.

Nupur has been accused of killing her 14-year-old daughter. Aarushi was brutally killed inside her Noida residence on May, 2008. Initially the needle of suspicion was pointed towards Hemraj, Talwar's servant. But soon Aarushi's parents came under the scanner when Hemraj's body was found on the terrace of the Talwar's residence on the next day.
