CBI to probe 'godman' Nirmal Baba over Rs 238 crore row?

New Delhi, Apr 29: The self-proclaimed godman

may land in a big trouble as now an NGO demanded a massive probe by the investigative agency - Central Bureau of Investigation (

) against the baba.

The NGO - Bharat Jan Vigyan Jatha accused Nirmal Baba of amassing wealth and property worth Rs 238 crore by misguiding people.

The chairperson of the NGO, Jayant Pandya has been quoted as saying, "Nirmal Baba has amassed huge wealth estimated at Rs 238 crore by misguiding people and we demand CBI probe against him."

The NGO has so far organised 8,940 programmes and several street-plays, Pandya to create awareness among people about blind faith. According to reports, the NGO achieved success in its mission.
