Varanasi: Major fire breaks out in oil mill

Varanasi, Apr 28: A massive fire broke out on Saturday, Apr 28 in an oil mill in Varanasi, no casualties have been reported so far.

The incident took place at around 2.30 pm. Over a dozen fire tenders reached the spot to extinguish the fire. All the employees were taken out safely from the mill and the residents of the nearby places were asked to evacuate their houses till the fire was under control.

It was reported that the fire spread in cattle feed plant inside the premises due to strong wind.

Fire Officer Subhash Singh claimed that the incident has caused damages worth crore.
