Earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude hits Nicobar Islands

Nicobar Islands, Apr 25: Mild tremors measuring 5.8 magnitude on Richter scale were felt across Nicobar Islands on Wednesday.

No damages have been reported so far.

Earlier, an earthquake measuring 8.6 on the Richter scale hit Indonesia's Sumatra island and parts of India followed by a tsunami warning in 28 countries. The warning was, however, withdrawn later.
