WB government records my speeches: Mamata Banerjee

Mamata Banerjee
Kolkata, Apr 23: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday, Apr 23 said that the media distorted her speeches on tax moratorium and showed that she had threatened to the UPA government.

She said that she had requested the government regarding tax moratorium, but never threatened on the same. Mamata said, "My state government will tape my speeches from now on because I am facing problems as a section of media is distorting what I am saying."

"Mamata Banerjee is an important ally and will remain. These things do happen in coalition politics. I am sure the issues will be sorted out," said Kapil Sibal, Union HRD Minister.
