Norway custody row: NRI Kids to return to India

New Delhi, Apr 23: A Norway court has given the custody of the two Indian kids - Abhigyan and Aishwarya to their uncle Arunabhash Bhattacharya. The Kids are returning back to India on Tuesday, Apr 24.

The foster parents will accompany the kids to India tomorrow and even a senior Indian diplomat will come along with the children.

They are taking a flight from Oslo to Frankfurt and will reach India by tomorrow morning. The Norway authority has asked the kids parental uncle to take care of the kids. The two children were in the custody of the Child Welfare Services for the last one year.

The Norwegian Child Welfare Services had taken away the kids from their parents on the grounds alleged negligence and emotional disconnect.

The authority took such drastic measure after they came to know that the couple fed their children with their hands and their Kids slept with them which annoyed the authority.
