Massive blow for Jaganmohan Reddy as auditor surrenders

On the bail granted earlier by the lower court, the CBI had moved a petition on the same before the special CBI court that the bail would hamper investigations. The CBI counsel argued that they had filed the first chargesheet against Jaganmohan Reddy, Vijay Sai Reddy and others in the case on the basis of the investigations conducted till date.
Vijay Sai Reddy had spent time in the Chanchalguda Central Jail for over 3 months and was released on conditional bail granted by the special CBI court on Apr 13. He was arrested on Jan 2 by the CBI and was named accused No 2 in the chargesheet filed by the agency. He was also serving as the vice-president of Jagati Publications Private Limited (JPPL), owned by Jaganmohan Reddy as well as audits records of various other companies under Jagan’s ownership.
