HP Police introduces online system of exams

Chamba (HP), Apr 23: The Himachal Pradesh Police department has introduced an online system of examinations for the first time in the state.

Initially, a two-day departmental exam in information technology to the posts of head police constables had been conducted through the online system at the district headquarters, District Police Chief, Madhu Sudan Sharma said.

In the two-day examination, which concluded here yesterday, 63 police personnel had appeared, the police chief said. The examinees were issued the copy of their result soon after the exam, Sharma said.

The online system would avert the possibility of leak of question papers, he said.
