Massive rally against military council at Tahrir Square

Cairo, Apr 20: A massive rally hit the Tahrir Square, thousands of Egyptians turned out in Tahrir Square to protest against the ruling military and parliamentary candidate.

The political parties including the Islamists, liberal and leftist forces joined the protest. The disqualification of popular presidential candidate Hosni Mubarak stirred the anger among the Egyptian.

Last year, the military came in power after Hosni was ousted. The military council promised that they will hold the power until the election results will be declared in the month of Jun.
