Facebook asked to remove anti-Mamata cartoons

The investigative agency has also asked for the IP address of the computer from which the pictures were uploaded on the internet. However, the pictures don't include the one that was uploaded by the Jadavpur University Professor, Ambikesh Mahapatra. Kolkata Police arrested him last week for circulating the cartoons on the internet.
After a complaint filed by a resident of Kolkata who found the pictures of Mamata Banerjee as offensive, the CID took over the case and decided to write to Facebook.
