Rs 109 cr in bank A/cs, IT whips at 'godman' Nirmal Baba
A Jharkhand daily - Prabhat Khabar on Friday reported that the visitors, who come to get solutions from the godman, are asked to donate 10 percent of their salary to Nirmal Baba.
Citing the news, Income Tax department started scrutinising all his bank accounts where transactions are made from all over the country.
Meanwhile, Baba Ramdev's aide Acharya Balkrishna, who himself has been slapped with several corruption cases against him, took a hand on Nirmal Baba.
Criticising the activities of Nirmal Baba, Balkrishna on Saturday, Apr 14 claimed that people should believe in their "karma (action)" and make efforts instead of running in hope for miraculous relief.
Taking questions about Nirmal Baba and recent revelations against him (Nirmal Baba), Balkrishna hailed traditional art of 'Yoga' and also reiterated that Baba Ramdev's organisation never supported practices like "occultism".
