UP govt to crack whip on schools for violating RTE

Ballia, Apr 14: Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday, Apr 14, announced that stern action would be taken against schools for violating the Right to Education (RTI) Act.

Ram Govind Chaudhary, Education Minister said that schools should follow the Supreme Court's order.
According to SC's order, the schools would have to provide admission to 25 per cent of poor children even provide them facilities like other children.

Schools should follow a good environment of the education and discipline was created, he added.
