Stay away from my statues, thunders Mayawati at Akhilesh

Lucknow, Apr 14: Mayawati, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh warned Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to stay away from her statues and parks built during her regime in the state.

Further talking in a warning tone, she said if any construction was done in the parks where statues of Dalit icons were erected, the law and order in the state would be affected.

Akhilesh Yadav has been constantly emphasising that the empty spaces in these parks should be used for constructing hospitals or colleges.
