Media circulates Nirmal Baba's earnings

New Delhi, Apr 13: Godman Nirmal Baba's assets have come to limelight, nearly Rs 16 crore was deposited in his account on Apr 12, 2012 as reported by the daily newspaper

. Baba charges Rs 2,000 for every participant who wish to be part of his community 'samagam', it is then transferred into his bank accounts- Punjab National Bank, ICICI Bank and Yes Bank. [UPDATE:

The daily newspaper has reported that over Rs 109 crore have been deposited in his accounts this year and roughly Rs 1.11 crore are deposited in his accounts everyday. Large amount of deposits come from three states- Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand.

Meanwhile, Baba holds two accounts-one in the name of Nirmaljeet Singh Narula (Baba's original name) and other in the name of 'Nirmal Darbar'. Those who participated in 'samagam' have to give the entry fees that goes directly into the account run under name of 'Nirmal Darbar', and then get transferred into Baba's account.
