2 paying guests arrested for Bollywood actor's dad's murder

Mumbai, Apr 10: After the arrest of a small time Bollywood actor, Anuj Tikku, Mumbai Police Crime Branch on Tuesday, Apr 10, has arrested two paying guests - Manoj and Dhanajay on suspicion of killing Anuj Tikku's father Arunkumar Tikku.

According to the neighbours, they saw two men along with the victim at Anuj's flat. After finding blood, the watchman of the flat locked the two men inside the room but they somehow managed to flee from the place when police reached.

Arunkumar Tikku (61), father of the actor, was a Ghaziabad-based businessman. He came to Mumbai to settle a personal issue involving his son Anuj who is the CEO of a firm that deals with events, TV commercials and content for radio.

"When the cops went there, doors of the flats were locked. One of the doors was broken open when Arunkumar was found murdered. A knife was also recovered from the spot," said DK Rupwate, Senior inspector at Oshiwara police station.
