Bollywood actor arrested over father's murder in Mumbai

Mumbai, Apr 9: Anuj Tikka, a Bollywood actor and a well-known face in the advertisement industry, has been arrested over his father's murder case. Oshiwara police in Mumbai arrested Anuj at Andheri on Saturday, Apr 7.

Arun Tikku (61), father of the actor, was a Ghaziabad-based businessman. He came to Mumbai to settle a personal issue involving his son Anuj who is the CEO of a firm that deals with events, TV commercials and content for radio.

Senior inspector at Oshiwara police station, DK Rupwate was quoted as saying, "When the cops went there, doors of the flats were locked. One of the doors was broken open when Arunkumar was found murdered. A knife was also recovered from the spot."

Police are currently searching for two other suspects whom Anuj rented his flat in Andheri. According to the neighbours, they saw two men along with the victim at Anuj's flat. After finding blood, the watchman of the flat locked the two men inside the room but they somehow managed to flee from the place when police reached.
