After lunch, Pakistan President Zardari heads for Ajmer

New Delhi, Apr 8: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has left for Ajmer after meeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. During the meeting, Singh accepted Zardari's invitation to meet again on the soil of Pakistan.

Zardari met Singh at his official residence in 7 Race Course Road in New Delhi. PM Singh organised a lunch for President, delegations, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Senior BJP leader LK Advani, BJP leader Sushma Swaraj but Sonia skipped the lunch at the last moment.

Zardari reached India an hour late that delayed the meeting. After the meeting, Singh and Zardari conducted a joint press conference where Zardari declared that the meeting was "fruitful" and urged to meet in Pakistan.
