TDP demands AP govt to cancel illegal land allotments

Hyderabad, Mar 31: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday, Mar 30 demanded Andhra Pradesh government to cancel all the irregular land allotted to private players and individuals between 2006 to 2011.

While addressing the press conference, Naidu said the allotted land should be taken back and distributed to the farmers as it was taken forcibly from them.

Lashing out at the opponent parties, Chandrababu said the beneficiaries of the illegal land had invested a huge amount in the business drifted by MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. "By splurging the ill-gotten money, Jagan is resorting to bizarre politics in the state. He is seeking to blackmail political leaders, media and even the judiciary through his newspaper and television channel, set up with the illegal wealth," he added.

Meanwhile, K Yerran Naidu, TDP's politburo member and former Union Minister demanded for a CBI probe to find out whether YSR's ministers in the cabinet are involved in the illegal allotted land.
