Commuters suffer as Delhi Metro service disrupts

New Delhi, Mar 30: After a major outage on Thursday, Mar 29 in Delhi Metro services, the train services were hit for a second day. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) travelling from Dwarka to Vaishali found a breakdown in services on the same day. While the officials were reluctant to answer for the cause of the outage in services.

On Thursday, metro services were disrupted following the signalling failure during the rush hour. Due to that, thousands of commuters in the Delhi-NCR region were harassed. Since morning, the trains of Noida and Ghaziabad travelling to Dwarka were delayed after they were run at a limited speed between Pragati Maidan and Mandi House stations.

Meanwhile, the office-goers and others faced the inconvenience and it was resolved after 2pm as the commuters had to search modes of transport to reach their offices.
