Anna Hazare's supporters lose legal war against Salman Khan
Activists of India Against Corruption (IAC) group and the NGO had filed the case against Salman Khan and six other persons. The NGO had claimed that Salman's bodyguards thrashed and hurt the activists who had approached the actor requesting to wear Anna cap.
However, citing a report submitted by Kakadeo police station, the court quashed the case on Friday, Mar 30. The report says that eyewitnesses in the case didn't approve of the allegations made by the activists.
As OneIndia had reported earlier, the commotion started when activists approached Salman's car shouting pro-Anna slogans. Following this, Salman's bodyguards allegedly hit Jan Rajya Party Omendra Bharat general secretary. He fainted and fell on the ground after the attack. The protestors later started shouting slogans against the actor and were seen arguing with police officials present there.
