Kingfisher to clear Rs 10 cr service tax dues till March-end

DGCA and Aviation Ministry has given several warnings to the cash-strapped airline after Kingfisher are failing to come up with flight operations. While, it has massively cut down national and international flight operations.
Talking to reporters, Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) Chairman S K Goel said "Kingfisher has dues to the tune of Rs 76 crore; we are talking to them. They will be depositing about Rs 10 crore this month."
"They have told us that they are going through a cash-crunch and needs some more time to pay up," he added.
Meanwhile, the Kingfisher's bank accounts has been frozen by the Service Tax department.
