Anna set 2014 deadline for govt to bring Jan Lokpal Bill

Anna was on a day-long fast on Sunday, Mar 25, at Jantar Mantar from 11am to 5pm, demanding for the protection of whistleblowers, a portion that has been removed from the bill drafted by the UPA government.
Speaking at the Jantar Mantar, Anna said to government that "Introduce the bill or go in 2014." Anna also demanded government to bring Right to Reject.
The 74-year-old Gandhian said that his team would join hands with yoga guru Ramdev and they would come out with their next set of plans to fight against corruptions.
Hundreds of people gathered at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi to support Anna demands include justice for slain Madhya Pradesh IPS officer Narendra Kumar and protection for the whistleblowers.
