AP Health Min DL Reddy submits resignation to Sonia Gandhi

New Delhi, Mar 22: Andhra Pradesh Health Minister DL Ravindra Reddy has submitted his resignation to Congress President Sonia Gandhi over the Congress' defeat in the bypolls. He has cited the dismal performance of the Congress party as the reason behind his resignation. He has reportedly sent the resignation letter to Sonia Gandhi.

Meanwhile, the move can also be read as an indication of an internal revolt brewing inside the Kiran Kumar Reddy government. Reddy, a known rival of CM Kiran Kumar has been accusing the CM of announcing crucial schemes and policies without due consultation with the party High Command.
