Lokpal power: Ramdev joins Anna's bandwagon

Haridwar, Mar 21: The rage for anti-corruption agitation will escalate in the coming days. Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare announced on Tuesday, Mar 20, that he will join hands with Yoga Guru Ramdev to fight for strong Lokpal bill.

Anna had come to Patanjali Yogpeeth Ashram in Haridwar in a bid to woo Ramdev's support.

Hazare said, "The Centre must worry as we are now joining hands." He also said, "I am alive because I have a clean image. Otherwise, I would have been killed."

"We will now launch our campaign against corruption on a joint platform with Baba Ramdev," he said.

"From today, we have sounded a bugle against corruption and black money. We are now together," Anna said.

"We will hold a one-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar on Mar 25," warning the Centre, the yoga guru added that the agitation against corruption would intensify in Apr-May.
