Andhra Pradesh: Eight students drown in Tank

Hyderabad, Mar 21: In a major tragedy, as many as eight students of class 10 were drowned in a tank in Andhra Pradesh's SPS Nellore district, said reports.

Sources said that the boys who had gone for a bath, were reported missing late Tuesday, Mar 20. After a massive search operation conducted by expert swimmers the bodies of the students were recovered from the tank in Kavali town in late Mar 20 night.

The children belonged to a private English medium school in Kavali town.

Moreover, state has faced another tragedy where a school bus carrying school children plunged into a canal on Mar 20, reportedly killed 14 children in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh.
