K'taka:BSY wins battle, to be CM in next 48 hrs, say sources

Bangalore, Mar 20: Former tainted Chief Minister of Karnataka, BS Yeddyurappa is likely to take over as the Chief Minister of the state, said sources in the BJP.

Yeddyurappa has been exerting pressure on the BJP to reinstate him as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. His coming out clean in the illegal mining scam boosted his confidence to exert pressure on his party.

Yeddyurappa also claimed that he has the support of 70 MLA's out of the 120.

Yeddyurappa's open revolt for grabbing the Chief Minister's post comes ahead of the state's assembly budget.
